The National Consultative Assembly’s (NCF) leaders began talks in Mogadishu on Saturday, concentrating on elections and security.

They’ve been consulting on complaints from the Union of Candidates, Civil Society, and the International Community in Somalia regarding a lack of transparency in the election.

PM Roble has promised free and fair elections in the country, as well as a 30% female representation quota in the next Somali parliament.
